I rarely talk to myself, I enjoy talking to others. But, yeah, I get it.

I talk to my pets, too, tell them my plans, stories, etc. Other humans is always what makes it difficult for me.

I wouldn't mind never talking, if I'm honest. People ignore me when I do and they tend to treat my ideas as rubbish. I talk to my family sometimes about things they are alright with, but otherwise it's just online. And since I prefer the written word anyway, that's fine by me.... except the part where I have to use my phone.

Same. I wish I'd had real pets growing up, as it would've really helped with the loneliness. I was physically and emotionally on my own pretty much all the time.

^That's true. My mom stopped working after I was born, so I was never alone, but, I do hear that a lot.

^ Yeah, sorry. It probably sounds whiny af but... yeah. My dad stopped working when I was a kid but he was going to college. He was all I had really, but... out of necessity he couldn't always be around. And I didn't have anyone or anything else. Overall, yeah, that was a really lonely and dark time for me. I don't really know how or why I'm thinking about it right now or why it's bothering me at this moment but I mean... sometimes the past still rubs off on you and reminds you of these things, even if you'd really rather forget.
