Story: Last year was having problems at school with my IEP and my teachers and such. Long story short, I missed almost every homework assignment assigned that year and didn't study once. I got my Standardized Testing scores, STAR testing, back yesterday at school. There are 4 categories we tested in, English, History, Algebra 1 and Earth-Space Science.
3 of the 4 categories I landed in the Advanced category. Again, I did no homework, did not study once. This is all from being in the classroom.
The best part is, in the English part I tested into 12th grade English levels, and for 90% of the year I was not even in an English Classroom.
My teachers told me all year to get my act together. The problem wasn't with me, it was with the teachers and how disorganized they were. I wasn't getting the help I needed, considering I have an IEP. (Thankfully third year they're getting their act together.) Well even without the homework I learned, and I learned well.
Take that, teachers who believe your grades and learning revolves around homework! I just beat the odds given to me! Tell me that I'll fail the testing and flunk all my classes again! Come on, I dare you, say it to my face!
LOL I'm sorry to brag but I really had to get that off my chest. x) You can ignore it if you want. xD
YAY! This is awesome!!! I'm proud of you too!!

And yep! Teachers affect me more than homework too. I was failing math up until grade 11 when I got a good teacher!
Also, I feel tired but also awake...
