We had quality shows and everything back then was so innocent. We had no idea what weed was or what sex was and it’s sad to see all these innocent little kids smoking and sleeping around and drinking at a young age. I mean, I don’t want to sound conceited about our childhood but looking at the shows on TV these days and what all of these kids are doing and how they spend their free time, I like our childhood a lot better. I miss it. Honestly? If I could bring it back, I would. That was a much simpler time and, so far, my favorite part of my life. Like, I prefer being a little kid over a teenager. Growing up, I always used to say “I can’t wait to be older and be a teenager. Life is going to be great.” but I was wrong. I want to be a little kid again. That was much better than now. Disney Channel used to be amazing. Playhouse Disney doesn’t even exist anymore, it’s called Disney Junior, and all the shows they have on now are crap. I miss Lizzie McGuire and Kim Possible and Rollie Pollie Ollie and Even Stevens and Bear In The Big Blue House and Blues Clues and That’s So Raven and Out of the Box. At least we still have Spongebob. I think Spongebob is the only show still around from back then. I loved our childhood.
This is what EVERY generation says. I'm not saying I disagree, but, in 10 years from now, today's children will be saying the exact same thing about their experiences.
