I remember you really enjoyed Finland at the time, but... I can see how that could be a bad memory now.

As for me, I've grown to hate flying over the years as well. I've got parents that live in different states, obviously, and so the first time I flew without adult supervision, I was only 11... TBH, it gets taxing after a while, even for me. I dislike the stress and discomfort of airports and planes. Trains are far preferable, even if they take longer.

I also despise trolleys, and trains are meh.

I wouldn't say 100%, since there have been airplane crashes with survivors. It all depends on the circumstances.

I find the whole experience fun. There are people from various nationalities, the food is great (at least, on the company I flew with), I love the feeling of the departure and the landing. I just have a huge thing for airplanes, helicopters, gliders, etc.
But, I really enjoy travelling around: either it is by bus, by boat, by train, by plane.

^ To clarify, I don't have a problem with small planes. I'd be fine with getting a small plane/pilot's license and flying myself. But commercial airplanes and large airports are breeding grounds for a bad time. lol

EDIT: Ninja'd. And you must've flown on a different airplane service than mine. Half the time I can't even recline the seats, there's nothing to do or watch, and there's like no space. Also the food tends to be hella expensive.

I'll admit that departure is fun, though, and I like looking out of the window.
