I like all three games, haven't finished the third one yet, but there are things I preferred about the second one and vice versa. I'll need to play Inquisition more to determine definitely how it compares to the first two.

Omgerd try origins. And if you like it there's an expansion that's great too.

DA2 was a bit too action-y and lacked the customization of origins. DA inquisition had too many filler mmo style sidequests and even less customization than DA2.

I much preferred the gameplay in DA2 to DAO. Inquisition so far for me has the best elements of both DA2 and DAO all put together. I like lots of sidequests at the same time as disliking them, and I thought the customization was fine, in fact I much prefer the customization in DA2 and DAI than I did in DAO. I will say the story itself was much better in DAO than DA2, and I haven't gotten far enough in DAI yet to make a judgment on it as far as story. Honestly I'd have been playing DAI earlier except that my PC can't run it and my brother was playing the XB1 version.

But it all comes down to individual preferences.

I will say this. Mass effect 2 is my favorite bioware title. It felt polished to a sheen, while mass effect 1 felt a bit too choppy with the framerate and the hit detection was spotty. It also had super awesome sidequests (the loyalty ones) that were not only fun they mattered to the story and it didn't have a lame ending like mass effect 3.

I am excited for mass effect andromeda. It's supposed to take place in the same timeline as mass effect 1-3 but you won't play as shepard. I'm hoping that I can play as a krogan or a turian instead of a human.

I would say 'wait for the mass effect 1-3 hd remasters' but ea has said that they aren't making any of those.

Sigh. Every other franchise is getting the hd remaster treatment instead of the ones i'd actually want (excluding kingdom hearts which had awesome remasters)
