Legend tells of a time when members of this very website could win in this thread for days at a time. Sometimes a victor would remain atop their throne for weeks, months even, but in the end, they always fell to more diligent warriors, struggling to make a name for themselves, somewhere on the world wide web...

Until at last, the thread was enveloped in darkness and shrouded in mystery, leaving the tales to be forgotten in time, as more unsuspecting posters fell into its trap, so like a siren's call, beckoning them to come and waste away their time, vying for a victory that was never possible, no longer knowing why they fought on or what they were hoping to accomplish.

They began to mock their friends in playful rivalry, their only goal being to come out victorious, or, at the very least, to see to it that the others did not win. And for the rest of time, so long as My Lion King existed, this "war" continued to rage passively on.

I do wish people were able to win for such a long amount of time, really, I do. It's just that the people won't let me have such a long win.
