Put in a complaint if he carries on. It's very unprofessional for him to be talking about you behind your back.

^ It's bullying and hurtful. He's apparently been moaning about how long it took me to clean the animals out today and I was only doing it overly perfectly because I wanted to make sure he passed the inspection. I feel very crappy all over again.

^ I agree with Si on this one, you can't let him get away with it and yes it is bullying. He shouldn't even be a manager if he is acting so childish and immature.

Thanks guys. I did go down the route of reporting him before when we had issues with my health, but he was ignoring them. Turns out... to be honest our area manager isn't much better. So I am a bit stuck =\ This was such a perfect job for me when I started and when the old manager was there, but now.. I am even considering going back into horses for a while. I don't enjoy work AT ALL anymore and after today, the under appreciation and bullying it confirmed it.
