As far as pure storytelling goes, trek obliterates star wars. The next generation is one of the few sci fi tv series I could stomach, haven't seen it in ages though.

In terms of memorable moments, for better or worse star wars wins.

Star wars has better music, though I am fond of the Trek themesongs. Most notably the one from the first movie with the original cast members.

The star trek reboot films I am not very fond of.

As for my question, favorite snack while watching a movie?

I usually don't eat anything. Makes it harder to focus on the movie, that and movie theater food is usually overpriced mediocrity.
