Are You A "Furry?"

It's not all about the costumes and the artwork. For some furries, it's just a state of mind and a bit more personal than all of that. That's more what it is for me. I don't wear a fursuit and I certainly don't participate in adult activities in said fursuit. I'm also not all that into anthro artwork. It's just different for everyone.

^Good answer ^.^ A furry is a state of mind, and there doesn't have to be anything awkward or odd about that.

I just didn't know til last night that they do things like that I mean fursuits ok...but a Parade in Texas that is highly unlikely here...or I'm just slowly losing mind and your in San Antonio...I'm in Lufkin. your less than an hour away from me

Yeah it does seem weird here. I remember the first year they had it, people were complaining that it was in July. Fursuits in July would have been horrible. I've never been, but I've wanted to.

I said no... and that said, I also should add that I don't have any problem with furries in general. But I don't find myself to be one. I DO, however, think some anthropomorphic art is pretty neat, and I am currently in the process of developing a 'character' for myself (fursona might be a better word to describe it, but we never really refer to it as such so that's kinda up for debate, LOL) since the circle of friends I hang with all have 'fursonas' as well, though mostly for drawing purposes in the sense that it's infinitely more fun to draw ourselves like that rather than just as humans... plus the better artist of all of us, Serge (used to be big into the TLK art fandom, you might know her, I dunno) draws anthros/animals exclusively, so it just kinda evolved from that, LOL.

So in that way I guess I might sound like a bit of a closet furry or someone in denial to some, perhaps. I do not see myself as one, though, and nor do the rest of my friends, so I guess I'll just roll with that! ;D
