Time to update, I think!

1. I've lost contact with my cousin (He does live in Spain) So I'm unsure of what's happening there.

2. The shooting has blown over now, though I'm still wary.

3. Annie is ok for now, though I can't stop time from taking her from me in the future, which is getting me down.

4. He's left me alone, finally.

However, I have a new set of problems now.

1. My friend fell off a horse she was trying out and was kicked in the back...the kick broke her back and she won't be home in time for Christmas, so my heart really goes out to her. Though, one could argue, accidents comes with the territory I suppose.

2. I'm having real problems finding a job...there's nothing! And my parents and the job centre are getting angry with me...but it's not my fault.

Good luck with finding a job; I know just about everyone has been struggling with that lately. The opportunity will present itself soon enough!

that's so sad :( *huggles teh caracal*

I know exactly how it feels when one of your friends hangs around with your psycho ex.
I had a stalking ex that hit me with his moped and made me crash into the hedge with my moped twice.
I told that story to a friend of mine, and not even a month later she is hanging around him, flirting with him. Such a cheap **** D:
Yeah, I know how that feels.... I hope the little baby gets allright, I also hope your doggy will get better soon. Vets can do good things for animals these days, so don't lose your hope..

Good luck.

Well, I thought I'd give you an update!

Annie is doing fabulously at the moment, just got a few sniffles, but the vet said it doesn't hurt her and it'll most likely never go.

However, the baby didn't make it :( it's better that way though, if she'd survived, it wouldn't have been a good life as she was terribly brain damaged. My heart goes out to my cousin. R.I.P

New problem - my friend is bugging me so much, I'm seriously thinking about de-friending her.
She was talking about horses she rides at college and how they're so much better than the horses I ride.

But the kicker was she said "I ride this horse -insert name here- he's like Blobby, but BETTER"...and when Blobby (my best horsie friend) has passed away a few months before, that's NOT what I want to here...
I don't think she realises the impact his death has had on me...I still cry myself to sleep sometimes because he's gone...

But over all, I'm doing ok, so don't worry about me :)

Hm, she doesn't sound like a very good friend

If it was me, I would wait a few days, and if she continues to act like a jerk, leave.

Hope everything turns out well!

When she said the horse she rides is better than Blobby, it sounds like she was acting immature. lol :) Best to just ignore that, obviously. I'm sorry to hear about your cosion Annie. =( As well as what your friend says about the horses she rides at college are better than the ones you ride, has she ever riden one you rode? because if not, she is just being a plain jerk, and trying to make you feel bad. lol

It's nice to have a good update. :)

I'm sorry to read those things, Annie - although I don't know you very well, I've seen you around the site, and I really hope the best for your cousin's child, Annie and your other situations! I'm sure you have the whole forum for support. :)
