Here's an update: I went for the retest today. The bad news is, the first doctor was right...I really do have farsightedness. Apparently I was born with it.
The good news is, it's not as severe as she said it was. In fact, it's barely noticable at all. Although glasses are recommended, I won't need them because my vision is already slightly above average so it balances out.
Plus my parents were wrong. Using the computer too much did not cause this defect. It's hereditary. Adults can be so stupid lol
I'm so happy!I won't have to leave MLK after all! ^_^

and it's always important to have a thorough examination at the eye doctor, just so they don't miss anything. some of them don't do a good job or try to put off something more expensive than you need if you do have a problem.
