Which is why I'd encourage you to keep notifying original artists privately, and from your personal account, when you think there's a problem =) But treating it as an official investigation oversteps your bounds as a fellow community member. That should be left to the original artist.
I hope you're not taking my posts as negative comments; I just think the issue should be dealt with from a different angle. I'm not saying the issue is unimportant, because I fully agree with you there.
