You can stop being yourself for a moment and act like your character. It also lets you do whatever you want without being embarrassed, in my opinion.

Well, I'd honestly be too embarrassed to wear one.. Because most people do it at younger ages, it's not really socially acceptable to dress up as a teenager/adult here.

But a lot of furries wear fursuits. Which means that the general assumption to be made is that it's mostly about fursuits. Just enjoying the art wouldn't make you a furrie.

Actually, most furries I know that dress up are over 20. Fur suits can cost over £1000, so you need a LOT of money to get one and kids usually don't have that kind of money.

I voted no, but I guess you could call me one.
I'm not attracted to animals or anthro animals, dispite the fact when I see Ned (My favourite horse), I give him kisses cuddles and I call him "My sexy number 1 man" I don't mean it in THAT way though.

I do draw furry art and some is a little more than PG rated. But I don't find that stuff attractive, I just find it interesting to draw (and I'm not so great at people)

I think people give furries a bad press, but most are really nice, normal people! Of course, like with any group of people, you're going to have intense crazies and they're the only ones you hear about.

First off, you spelled "furry" wrong.

Second, no, I'm not a furry, but many of my favorite characters are anthros, so take it as you will.

Third, not all furries are disgusting people with no lives. I've been on forums that have a lot of furries in them, and.... they're (mostly) just normal people like you and me just with a label stuck to them. I've met some VERY nice people on said forums that are "furries".

Oh, and the fact the 3 people voted "I hate furries" sickens me. Liking something different than another person should NOT make you despise them.

They go to conventions are and forums and talk to people just like them. Then some of the sicker ones do stuff I wouldn't expect a 13 year old to understand.

But also take into account that not all furries do that crap. I'm currently on a forum that is about 40% furries, and I'd say only 5% of them do that sort of thing.
