Anyone else kind of get bored of TLK?

Lol, you've been ranting on for a bit there TPAM. But anyway, I only joined this forum because I was looking for a good forum to make friends on. But this actually sparked my interest in TLK, so I still love it and I probably will for a while.

I go through phases, but I never stop loving TLK. I'm not the type to watch the movies once a month or anything. Once in a blue moon I will pull the dvds out. For a long time in HS and college my interest in TLK dropped off almost completely (but it NEVER stopped being my favorite Disney movie). I got more into Xena and The Lord of the Rings than anything else. Then I saw the Broadway show for the first time while I was in college. My interest came back a bit. Lately, my interest is really, really high again. My ebay searches/buys are almost 100% TLK. I've been back into the movies and now this message board.

We all grow. Sometimes we grow out of things. Sometimes, things just fade out but never really leave. For me, as a married woman, a homeowner, and as someone actively trying to conceive a child, I just don't have the time or the energy to be TLK cheerleader all day every day. I have a life to live where I have adult responsiblities.

Will I ever completely grow out of TLK? Never. Will my interest rise and fall in cycles? Yes.

Buy one of my flaws is that once I get started, it's hard to stop me. Especially if there is no one around to stop me.

To be honest, it's not even my favorite Disney movie. My favorite is Hunchback of Notre Dame. Yeah, when I first joined into the fandom, I was a slightly bigger fan, but I was never insanely crazy about TLK. Sure, I've modded a few sites, but that's about as far as it goes. I haven't even really been able to get into RP's much, because I've never been that passionate about TLK.

Really, I only joined this site to makes friends/reconnect with some old ones who quit TLKP. Other then that, all I really do now on here, and pretty much any other TLK forum I'm on, is post in the OT areas.

I still enjoy TLK but its not my fav movie now.. its getting a bit old now and i've watched it too many times..

I'm not bored with it, and I doubt I even will be. It's the fans that bore me and annoy me, seriously, I have never seen so much drama over a comic book character or a story-line before, never seen so much art theft and "omgz thatz my characteerrr". (I'm not pointing fingers, all you guys are awesome)
It's not really my favourite, but perhaps joint fave with Mulan and Tarzan.

No. I will never ever get over TLK. It means so much to me, and it has helped me through the toughest times. It has been a phase for me at times, but it has never faded away, in order for me to just forget about it like some people can. It's one of my favorite movies ever, and I will never let go.

Well... I admit that there are my off days, but to be honest I'm still a fan of TLK, and I think it's always going to be a part of me (wait what? xD). Never been hardcore, and probably not as crazy a fan as I was when I first joined this forum (this is the first lion king forum that I've ever joined, lol). Whenever TLK is referenced/talked about in real life I'm usually eager to get involved, but other than that there's nothing much else. I still watch TLK and collect this that and the other from the merchandise, however. But overall yeah, as I said at first- I have my on and off days.
