I'd prevent Constantine from becoming the emperor of Rome. In fact, I'd prevent the tetrarchy from ever being needed by stabilizing the empire and fixing things up everywhere- and I would let the emperor take all of the credit for it.

Oh gosh. I don't even know where I'd begin. I guess it's a good thing I can't actually go back in time, because once you start experimenting with the past, where do you draw the line? It'd drive me insane sooner or later.
