if I may add one little thing... I actually didn't restrict the freedom of speeche. I wrote that anyone who wouldn't be able to resist an argument, would be welcome to do this in PM with me. All I wanted was to hear opinions, and dont turn up the furnace.

cheers.

I don't 100% agree with you but I agree a lot.

I see no reason why I can't let my opinion out here since it has been rejected by staff several times.

Let me start with this, I'm very very experienced in arguments of this kind. Never ever in my whole life have I been on a forum on which people are so easily offended. I am not offended to hear someone else's thought so why should someone be of mine?

On this forum it is impolitic and wrong to criticize someone's thoughts about religion in a way it is not wrong to criticize someone's thoughts about physics or history. And so it is that when I come with rock solid facts (in favor of my views) which are written down in history, I get warned. Someone telling me the opposite against atheism is apparently not wrong.

When taking part in such discussion you must understand that there are people from the other side who may be as or even stronger than you. And they will do everything to disprove you. That is not racism or ignorance. The proper word for this is ''debate''.
Atheistic views are immediately picked up as offensive. This is not offense but these are facts, they are true and have been confirmed. Confronting someone with the real world is not ignorant nor offensive. I have the feeling that ''I'm offended'' is more used as an escape from a debate than anything else.

There is nobody who can take a neutral position in these discussions. At least it should not be allowed for people who take part in it to ban another person who also took part in it. These topics are constantly creating problems. I said to the staff ''Well then forbid them''. They won't because there are only a few people who don't understand how to debate in there. I'm almost 100% sure those are all atheists.

an atheist expressing his views with the hard truth is not racist

you know what is racist?

A place where people are not allowed to express certain views.
then again, we can always be like North-Korea.

Thank you for reading. I'm only expressing my opinion so I see absolutely no reason for someone to be offended about this either. This is just what I think is happening. I might be wrong, but I really doubt it.

But I learned how stuff works here so I just nod and stay out of religious topics. I completely understand how you feel Baya. I cant say I 100% agree with your debating style but I do agree that atheistic views are not respected.

If any mod sees a reason to talk to me about this then be my guest and pm me.

I honestly don't see where atheists views are not being accepted though. In my personal opinion, I feel that people who believe in religion are the ones being put down a lot on here. This forum has more nonbelievers on here than it does believers. And quite honestly, I feel that I cannot express my views freely on here because I know there is bound to be an atheist on here that is going to come in and try to put me down for my faith in God. Therefore, I tend to avoid religious debate topics and I avoid trying to talk about God altogether for fear of these people.

The problem is that there are no clear rules. There should be topics in which people can put their views and there shoudl be topics in which people can discus their views.

So far I've read exactly five words of this thread and I have this to say, in the interest of preventing exaggerations of my actions:

I haven't said anything to you since I was last here, which was some time ago. I happen to know that you have a huge grudge against me over my political views, and ever since then have flipped a massive s*** whenever I go near you on the forum. That is what has happened here.

I have not read any of the three PM's you sent me nor do I care about the loss of one pride point. I suggest you to exhibit similar not-caringness when someone removes a pride point. This drama is stupid.

Silly, I have great respect for you. I don't dare attack someone's faith, unless I am invited to. When someone rejects a widely accepted scientific theory as garbage, and only accepts faith, that is utter ignorance and that I have no respect for. As for the Atheists who immediately shove their stuff down your throat, I am not that kind of Atheist. Those are called weak atheists, in my own wording, where they feel they need to spread atheism by word of mouth and blade just like their rivals. I believe if someone comes to the conclusion themselves, its' greater than any convincing. HOWEVER. I do not react nicely when they come to MY door and tell ME I'm going to hell for not believing in their faith. I also do not appreciate having science insulted when it does so much for society, and has advanced life as we know it.

As for you Snowy, I don't recall anything political, I just recall you sending me a pm about my signature size and acting like you were Moka himself, warning me to take it down. You were just a regular user then, and acted like you were above everyone else, and frankly I still do. Your rp skills are mediocre and you act like you are Kiarasmate. News flash buddy, you ain't no wolverine. There's a deliberate reason I avoided you on here, and that was because you are a suck up and frankly I don't appreciate being attacked for defending my own views using completely valid means.

I made the mistake of opening my mouth on MLK. This place is a zealot fan house, and I am extremely disappointed that it was turned into this. I wish both Moka and the rest of the biased staff immense luck in keeping this place running. You cannot limit free speech only to what you like my friends, even on the internet. I have full right to speak my mind, and I have done so already.
Gone for good.

I am incredibly surprised you haven't had a warning or banhammer taken to you already lol, this is a discussion for PM's and not immature public drama over things that happened quite a long time ago. So far we even have personal attacks in the form of an angry statement about my RP skills, and frankly I fail to see where I am acting like KM lol
