So why did Aquanite do that?

So today when I was reading the latest AotM, and I came across a few unheard names like Aquanite, Quill, and Cat Hikes. I only knew Tima, whose gallery I've carefully plowed throughly with great delight once.(and under the influence, went to check out what Monkey Island was anyway)
So I decided to check out Aquanite's gallery, and to my great disappointment, it was empty. Characteristically empty like a few similar ones I've come across: it contained only a few latest pictures, they were well-drawn, uploaded in a very short time(in 5 minutes) and the comments were not allowed. The profile was empty. The only interesting part to explore was the "art trades and requests", and I found pictures created for her dated back all the way to 2001, and some delightful arts by J.C.. I also found that the "original characters" contained a character created in 2001 and last modified in 2009.
This must be due to some reason, for I knew a few similar cases, like Evana(first AotM). Is there anyone who knows?

I think she just grew out of TLK and wanted to leave. But there may have been other reasons. Believe me, those names are not unheard of on TLKFAA, they're very famous! (You'll notice JaquiChan, that's me )
Sadly, lots of older "classic" artists just up and leave, deleting their gallery with not a word as to why

Maybe Aquanite became Aquaday.

Actually a main reason a lot of the older artists delete their galleries and leave is because of art thieves. Unfortunately TLKFAA has had a few instances of art theft, and since these artists are obviously amazing, they are the ones victimized. Jerks steal their artwork and characters and frankly they just get tired and don't see a point in uploading to a place where their art is in danger.
