as some of you know i was down in London the weekend gone for a furry party celebrating 11 years of furries in london
as here is my quick report on the events
Friday
Left Sunderland at around 9:20am, not before i had to run back and grab a gift for a good friend of mine called Var. Those of you that have seen the pictures of the confuzzled thread hes the full purple kitteh with green eyes. Anyway after a rush onto the train i made it just in time and found a seat with a plug socket. WIN!
logged into the trains wifi (yeah internet on a train its amazing) and proceed as normal as possible whislt organising meeting up with var and his gf and sorting out his gift which was an electronic con badge ^^ all was well till we got to york and a horde got on, i had to move as i was in a reserved seat. as we set off i saw we still had 2 hours left and i thought 'no way screw this'. i upgraded to first class which was around another 20 dollars and worth it. better seats more room and endless cups of tea and biscuits
got into london around 1pm where i spent half an hour looking for var his gf charlie and another friend of mine, tumaini. finally found them. now the first port of call.... my hotel and oh dear... i had to use the london underground a big mash of train tracks i didnt understand, but we got there safe and sound and when i checked and dumped my stuff we all went out for some fun!
first stop was camdon town, kind of a weird area mainly punk people of all ages but lots of others too and a ton of shops selling funny tshirts trousers and hats. and then there was tons of little food stalls from Chinese to mexican and all of them were like 'here try this sample' we ignored them
continuing on we went through what was called the horse market which was pretty much the same deal but lots more of it x3 it was fun though when we went in and found an army surplus store and the staff let us try the gear on
one of the coolest places there though was 'cyberdog' it was literally a shop full of cyber punk stuff! (google it) it was well weird but awesome at the same time although all of us were like O.o when we saw they had an adult section.....and you needed ID to get in...moving on! we hopped onto the underground again and went to (in my opinion) the pride and joy of london the Lyceaum the home of Lion King on the West end, i felt like such a kid! and the fun didnt stop there. we went on a walk down next to the river thames, grabbed a hot dog, went over the bridge next to the houses of parliament, next to the london eye and into the namco arcade!
it went well in there we won a huge bar of dairy milk, i got half way through one of those gun games (i forget the name for now) before dying and we spent the rest of the time on machines winning a ton of tickets we had about 850 by the end so we traded in for 4 chew sweets, 11 uber large lollies, and one big massive purple fun ball ^^
all in all a great day, after that we just parted ways for the night, i went back to the hotel did my duties on here
then fell asleep for the next daySaturday
oh what a beautiful morning! suns out sky clear and i was ready to rumble! had a nice shower and a full english breakfast with a cup of tea and some OJ. now was the hard part... i had to navigate my way round the underground alone to get to hyde park... i manged but it drove me nuts as the main line i needed to get there was not in use ¬¬ still i arrived where i met tumaini again and a few others.
Var and charlie finally showed and we pulled out a picnic and i let the big ball loose that we had previously won. they went made with it. furries + big bouncy purple thing = madness x3 and so it was for 2 hours where me tumaini var and charlie took one of the lollies each and then let the other fight for the rest cause we are nice
me and var also jumped into suit and harassed 6 police officers, 7 old people, a large social gathering of some sort and a dog.sadly me and var had to leave to get to the actual party that day but i met a good few new friends who i hope to stay in close contact with. the underground this time was piece of cake walk seeing as i was pretty much going back the way i came before. as we approached the venue we could see the madness had begun with half the people already in suits. me and var wasted 0 time in jumping in ours although we had an announcement that we had 5 mins before the fursuit walk and i got panicked for no reason. we are furries....we never run on time x3
still just before i went outside i bumped into 2 more friends from confuzzled Raptor and Cassie, a fox couple. and outside i met another my fav zakari the white tiger ^^ while we waited for others to get going we waved to the traffic and people on the tour buses..which caused a small hold up... oh well ON WITH THE WALK!!!!
it was so much fun interacting not only with my fellow fuzz heads but also the members of public and i got see see london a little more, best hour ive had in a long time i tell ya. we all arrived back hot sweaty and in need of water. all 10 jugs were empty in 5 mins and we needed more. still we all lived and some really great pics were taken
after i had rested my paws i suited up and went for a small walk round and bumped into someone i had been watching a week. her name was thrasher a mountain lioness and her friend shadowulf. it was amazing seeing those two and we all got to know each other pretty quick, we just gelled really well. also met another cute kitty called jezzabelle a 2 dogs called cueball and ozone and a tiger stripekazuma,as well as another friend i dint expect to see meeple the meerkat. me and thrasher had a good game of tickle the merkat and watch him squirm
towards the end of the evening i was just relaxing outside when i heard alot of shouting round the corner, i went to look and people were playing truth or dare, or in this case just dare. sadly i can and will not go into details of what was happening as meeple had the 'make it naughty' option on but i can tell you i was almost naked out of suit and thrasher who joined later lost a bit of dignity too
the party came to an end, me thrasher shadow and tumaini (who joined very late) went back to my hotel for a bit. tumaini couldnt stay and had to leave but me thrasher and shadow had plans. after watching vids and talking gettign to know each other more we went out for a little while in suit and scared all the drunks
before coming back to the room and....sunday
... talked some more and watched more videos till about 3:30am when all 3 of us just died on the bed. i woke up to find myself cuddling thrasher O.o now, this wouldnt be a bad thing usually its just a cuddle, but thrasher is no normal girl. only thing girly about her is physical features she is more manly than all the guys at the london meets in one body and trust me ive met them its true so yeah felt a bit odd O.o
she wasnt angry at me though, more at shadow who for some reason had kept on poking her XD whatever lol we got up got dressed and i had to get out of the room. we went and nommed a mcdonalds and then made a very.....silly choice. we were all low on money, and the underground isnt exactly cheap. so we decided to walk to londons kings cross.....and non of us had any idea where it was exactly as we dont live in london. i used my head with a plan of a section of the underground map and came up that the station was north east of us so off we went
it was boiling hot let me tell ya it was near insanity, we had to stop for a hint on where to go and look at several maps, but hey guess what it was me that got us there
the walk was alright minus the heat and not knowing the place. a weird situation had formed. i was in the lead checked where to go and making the decisions, thrasher was behind enjoying herself and poor shadow was at the back carrying not only his bag but thrashers suit as well x3 oh and before you ask no they are not going outstill woot woot i got us to kings cross alive. thrasher had to go an hour after we arrived, while me and shadow had to wait 4 hours, still time went fast and before i knew it i was on my way back on train again. the time passed nicely, the wifi had issues so i watched the first double episode of stargate atlantis before giving my computer a smack to get the wifi going. i got back said hi to people went on mlk talked with the staff then rightly smacked my head into a pillow which lead to today

crap weather, life sucks miss all my friends XD
thats pretty much what happened please please please do read this and dont go all like 'TL;DR' or whatever it was a fun event and i spent my time writing it up to share with you all. and now all the pics and vids ive been able to get my paws on ^^
