INFP Personality (“The Mediator”)

INFP personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. What I find interesting is that it's one of the more uncommon types, yet right now, it has the most votes on the poll. I'm not surprised though, just intrigued.

On almost all online communities, iNtuitive-types are much more common, even though something like 60-70% of the general population is a Sensing-type. There are two possible reasons for this: either the online tests are skewed in the direction of convincing people to self-identify with iNtuitive traits even when they do not, or those who are more likely to take a MBTI and post about it on a discussion forum are more likely to be iNtuitives. The same applies to Introversion and Extroversion.

On most other sites, you'll find that INTJ and INTP are the most common. The reason why FJs and FPs outnumber TJs and TPs on this site is pretty simple. Elsewhere on the internet, there are more male users than females. Here, on this website, it's mostly females. Females are more likely to be Fs, whereas males are more likely to be Ts.

I've taken this test in the past, and the results have mostly come out as INFP or more uncommonly INFJ. INFP seems fairly accurate.
