That warthog has a biiiiiig family XD

I was checking the Hakuna Matata series and I found out that in some episodes, Pumbaa has warthog friends, family, even enemies! I thought it would be fun to make a thread about, and if you are curious what I'm talking about: I made a page on my Lion King website as well: http://leeuwenkoning.webs.com/timonenpumbatvserie.htm (scroll down for lots-a-warthogz)

Personally I love the name Boaris for his Russian uncle :mega:
There is also footage of Pumbaa's aunt, I'm going to make a screenshot of her too and add it on the site soon! So keep checking it out and soon you'll get to know good ol' Pumbaa's family! ^^

I also discovered that the facts in The Lion King 1.5 are very contradictive towards what the series state about both their pasts. Timon was a back port guard, in love with the blond meerkat female Tatiana. When Timon got banned from the meerkat clan, he meets Pumbaa who is also a dropout (on my site you can read about his past and family)
I will surely upload pics of Timons former family according to Hakuna Matata series soon!

I don't think the T&P series was to be considered canon really.

I know, but it leaves options open for new fan theories, and that's what's fandom is all about, isn't it?

I was looking through some of those episodes recently as well (I didn't see many episodes as a kid), and I was interested at the many new characters that appeared in it, canon or not. There's probably the most adorable black leopard cub in the known universe in "Unlucky in Lesotho", and there's a lion that appears in "Don't Wake the Neighbear" that is so old that his mane and tail tuft are nearly white. He even has bushy white eyebrows.

There's another female warthog named Rosebud who Timon is almost forced to marry in "Madagascar About You"...and of course, she's pink as well. :|

I also discovered Claudius the lion from "Never Rome Alone", and I'm trying to figure out some way that he could be incorporated into the "real" TLK world, because the guy really looks like he could be Nuka's father (if the fairly recent news that Scar didn't have any cubs is the real deal).

EDIT:
I also discovered that the facts in The Lion King 1.5 are very contradictive towards what the series state about both their pasts.
This is true...of course, parts of the TLK world contradict themselves constantly. The story of how Zazu came to be Mufasa's majordomo in "Friends in Need" is different than the one in TLK6NA, I heard from the Wikipedia article on TLK6NA that used to exist that some TLK storybooks say that Rafiki presented Mufasa to the Pride Lands as a cub, while in TLK6NA, Rafiki first met Mufasa when Mufasa was a young adult, and of course there's the whole TLK6NA/SP contradiction. It's pretty much up to the fans to chose which parts of the TLK world they want to accept and which ones they want to reject.

I saw the Rome Alone episode just ago, and that Claudius lion really looks like :beanytagnuka: in his adult version. But boy oh boy what did they do to poor Simba?
I mean, all Disney series based on movies, such as Lilo and Stitch an the Tarzan tv series look just as great as the movies, but this seems just like a rush job to me.. however this series are very interesting.

Oh Akril, I've been reading the Wiki about the series, and there is told that there are two lion cubs in one episode too, but the episode isn't mentioned. Do you know which episode this could be? The cubs in the episode were sad and lonely, and in the end they were allright offcourse :P

Ugh, I think that Pumbaa's family just look ridiculous with the colors and whatnot.

Hmm, I don't know. I've seen a list with brief summaries of nearly all the episodes, but I don't recall any with lion cubs mentioned in them. I may try hunting down the few episodes that don't have descriptions to try to find them.

(Speaking of cubs, "No-Good Samaritans" has Timon and Pumbaa having to be bodyguards to a young leopard princess when her father [the king of the leopards] thinks they've saved her life. Timon and Pumbaa sure wouldn't have been that eager to babysit Kiara if this series was part of the movie universe.)
