Nala and Scar were mates???

Ok, this is a question that has been in my mind, Nala and Scar were together in a kind of mate relationship? I have been read many fan-fiction stories that Nala and Scar were together as mate, even I have seen many drawns of that, I have been trying to find if this is true,and nothing of this was true, but I don't know if I'm correct, there are a lot of stories that are saying this, so what all of you think?

Oh God not this again...the fan fictions are false and the drawings are fake. I've also read a few Nala and Scar stories myself...but they weren't pretty so nothing has changed my friend

I also believe the chances that Scar is Nala's father is higher then him being her mate. I know he had the hots for Sarabi but when Mufasa made her his queen, Scar looked elsewhere >_> [Most likely Sarafina]
