So my highschool just announced our school play and yea you guessed, ITS THE LION KING!
And they are going off the movie rather than the Broadway production...
and guess who gets to play Simba??
THIS GUY!

If my school had ever announced the were doing TLK as a production I would have been all over that thing :lol:

If my school ever announced they were doing TLK...I'd cry because my school ruins everything x)

Wow! That's great news, good for you!

Yeah, I figured that you'd be doing the movie version because I'm pretty sure it's near impossible for a school to get the rights to do the Broadway play. I know my school wasn't able to get the rights and we put on some amazing productions.
