Interesting! I personally think they could have made the clay model of Pride Rock a little better, but other than that, the people that worked on it did a great model! In the fourth grade, I made something for a biome project (though not with the use of robots) with animal models, and placed a lion on top of a rock I had in the backyard.

Very glad to know that you can't go wrong by combining The Lion King and nerds. I suddenly don't feel so alone. :P

Mind you, as great as it was to see that robot move all the pieces, now imagine what would happen if in the actual movie, during the Circle of Life intro, a huge robot was moving about next to Pride Rock?

I did a few projects similar to that, back when I was still in high school. Never thought to do it with Lion King figurines though. :P
