If they met as cubs, would they have been friends?

Let`s pretend for a moment that Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kovu and Vitani are all cubs of the same age and belong to the same pride.

Do you think they would have gotten along? Or to phrase it in a better way, what do you suppose they would have thought of each other?

Would Nala and Kiara be good friends, f.ex? Or Kovu and Simba? What about Vitani?

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

I don't think so as there parents probably did not get along for example scar would still try to be evil I think. Simba would get along with kiara because they have similar personalities. Also I think it would mess up the couples pairing and 1 would not be happy being the only left out and grow hate towards the others . It would be interesting to say the least

I can definitly see Kovu and Simba being friends. I can`t explain it too well, but I have the general impression that friendship between boys is forged easier and is less complicated.
I think Kovu is a soft-hearted cub, but can also be daring and show off for others, and so I could picture him and Simba going to the Elephant Graveyard together to show how brave they both are.

Nala and Kiara - this is a litTle tricky. I feel Nala has an elegance and sophistication that Kiara lacks. Nala is less giggly and bubbly, so I kinda think Kiaras energetic play might be a little off-putting, idk.. I just feel that Nala is more sensible and mature, whereas Kiara is more childish.

Simba and Kiara - yeah, I think they would have gotten along fine, but maybe not be best friends like Simba and Nala, again considering how girly Kiara is.

Simba and Vitani - I can see Vitani getting along better with Simba than with Nala or Kiara, simply because he is a male. Vitani is such a tomboy, and I imagine her having a great time hanging out with her brother Kovu and their buddy Simba.

Vitani and Kiara - yeah, I seriously doubt this friendship would work, as they are so different.

Nala and Vitani - hmm, maybe. I think they would get along OK, but not be very close friends.

Kovu and Nala - I think that would work, considering Nala and Simba are so close. I think Nala would appreciate both Kovus softer side and his cool act.

Kovu and Kiara - I think these two would be good friends, they obviously got along well in SP.
