Do you think Kopa should be in TLK4 and why?

To be honest, I think it would be weird if Kopa appeared in TLK4. They would have to explain where he was during the events of TLK2, and it could be too confusing... Except if he was born after the ending of TLK2.

However, I think it's unlikely they'll ever make TLK4.

First, how can there be a Lion King 4 when there hasn't been an "official" Lion King 3. I know The Lion King 1½ is titled The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata elsewhere in the world, but the official title is still 1½. The official trailer explained why didn't it want to be called TLKIII.

Even though if Disney did want to a sequel to TLKII, it would be titled TLKIII in the United States, but TLK4 elsewhere in the world.

Okay, I just wanted to get that out of my system.

Now, to answer your question, there may never be a fourth Lion King movie because John Lasseter cancelled the production of Disney sequels with The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning at its last one in the lineup. And playing devil's advocate, if there is one, there's a possible chance it could be about Mufasa and Scar's cubhood.

Second, Kopa doesn't exist in TLK movie universe. The filmmakers on the LK audio commentary named the cub at the end "Fluffy", not Kopa. By the time the production of the second movie was underway, the filmmakers assumingly weren't aware of Kopa's existance, as story director Phil Weinstein claimed he didn't know of him during production as said in this archived interview. Also, it was confirmed ealier this year that they were going to name Simba's male cub, Chaka, before they wrote him out of the story. So, the only way Kopa could be in the film series is if he is Kiara's younger brother depending if Kiara still wants to be queen.

The likeliness of another Lion King is rather slim. Honestly I don't think Kopa should be in it. His universe is an alternate universe to The Lion King; merely a spin off of the Lion King. His only existence comes from a book written with permission which is not canon. Just my opinion.

You see, I think Kopa should be in it becuz they can make it like this: in the beginning of TLK4, they show what happened to Kopa, Kiara's older brother. Kopa was supposedly killed by Zira merely after Kiara was born. (this would first of all explain Simba's over-protectiveness over Kiara in TLK2. Second of all, this could be the reason why Simba exiled Zira and her cubs and whoever followed her from Priderock.) But Kopa was still alive. As he recovered, he thought his family abandoned him and he ran away from Priderock. Then years and years later, after TLK2 time, Simba accidentally bumps into Kopa, who's a fully grown adult lion now, while hunting. Simba doesn't recognize him, but Kopa immediately recognizes his father and freezes in place. Then the story go's on from there.
This is just a theory.
