Best TLK Instrumental?

Best TLK Instrumental?

Postby Saffyminty » December 18th, 2011, 12:09 pm

Hello everybody! :D

I've been searching a TLK instrumental to choreograph a routine to.
I know of:
King of Pride Rock
This Land
Under the Stars
To Die For

My first question: Are there any more I have not listed?
My second question: Which one is your favourite?
My third question: Why is that your favourite?

Thanks!!! :happy5:

At 1ST Question: I dunno, I think that's all of them from TLK xP

At 2ND Question: King of Pride Rock

At 3RD Question: Because it's the best from all, of course I like Under the Stars as well, but King Of Pride Rock is one of my favorites, it's just soo powerful it gives me the chills.

1. Busa (probably my real favorite)

2. Well from your selection, I would say either "King of Pride Rock" or "To Die For"

3. "KoPR" for its ending where Simba ascends the throne and "TDF" for its beginning that uses wind instruments to get a really creepy effect.

Technically, Busa has lyrics, and therefore is not an instrumental.

Out of the list, I would say that I love "Under The Stars" the best, but I'd hate to say it is the best. Because honestly, the entire musical score is amazing, and you really have to watch the movie (and try and ignore words/songs) to fully appreciate it.

Also, to add to TheLionPrince's list: Battle of Pride Rock This is the instrumental that plays when Simba returns home, and ends when the movie ends. There is heavy overlap in the end with "King of Pride Rock", but there are parts that are not herd in any other material except for the movie, such as the climax when Simba and Scar fight. Excellent 30 seconds of music, that climax is.

1- There is the album The Complete Score you forgot to mention
2- Fav is This Land
3- Because it's the song during the Mufasa's Ghost part, and it's my favorite scene

Same.

We press play, don't press pause.
Progress, march on.
With the veil over our eyes,
we turn our back on the cause.
'Till the day that my uncles can be united by law,
when kids are walking 'round the hallway plagued by pain in their heart.
A world so hateful some would rather die than be who they are.
And a certificate on paper isn't gonna solve it all,
but it's a good place to start.

Since everyone is saying KoPR, I'll go with All That the Light Touches. Very underrated, IMO.
