Kimba vs Simba

This will be a lost cause, this is a TLK based forum, but what's everyones opinion of Kimba the White Lion, Or Jungle Taitei?

Some people believe TLK stole their characters or something from Kimba, whats everyones thoughts on this? I'm curious, I love both Kimba and Simba, but it's an interesting topic :3

Ya, the TLK lions are better in my opinion, the Kimba images are good, but not quite AS good in my opinion...

Well, Kimba was from 1965. The Kimba movies are still moving on, though. There was a movie released last year :3 Kimba has more movies and episodes than TLK, but I love both Kimba and Simba are similar, but Kimba's story is more developed, it has two series and a mange etc, and it isn't got as many confusing parts as TLK has (Like what happened to the first cub, where did Zira com from etc)

I think Disney at the very least was "inspired" by Kimba, because there's no way all those similarities are coincidences.

I believe that too /: There was even evidence that they held Kimba stills up to compare with their own work. And Simba was originally meant to be white...

I bet they figured it'd be too obvious if the made Simba white... is there a white lion in real life?
