Did anyone do this as a kid?

Did anyone do this as a kid?

Postby Momotaro » September 18th, 2010, 1:42 am

I'm not exactly sure if this in the right place, but whatever. :hey9:

So anyway, when you were younger, did any of you "play" TLK? Like, role-play it with yourself and maybe a few friends?

Since I'm an only child, I've always had to be by myself. :innocent: But when I was 4-5, I would always go outside and I had a TLK game I made up called "Kovu & Kiara's Secret Adventures" And I would always be all of the characters because all of the neighborhood kids were mean and snobby. XD

So, did any of you do something like this when you were little?

I role played with a friend when I was around 4-6 years old lol. I'd be Simba and she was Nala, and we would constantly replay the Nala-slipping-down-elephant-bones-and-Simba-b*tchslapping-Shenzi scene so much, it started to get old. Also sometimes I would imitate Rafiki and stand at the edge of my bed, holding a toy outstretched in my hands. That was kind of dorky. xD

Oh yeah! I always used to do that sort of thing when I was a little kid, with various movies, Lion King included. The details escape me now days, but I do remember it being completely awesome, except that I always did it alone. Yeah, I never had many friends.

But yeah, it's memories like these that make me wish I could be a little kid all over again...

TOTALLY! Not only did my sister and I have Simba, Nala, Kovu AND Kiara plushies to play with, we also used to pretend to be the characters ourselves. IT. WAS. AWESOME.
