My favourite from all of the films is" Can You Feel The Love Tonight"-Elton John version. My husband and I went to see the Lion King on our first date. We chose CYFTLT as our wedding song. The original film has a signifigant presence in our lives......:)

Yea Deeri, I agree, one of the greatest songs. It's too bad it wasn't in the movie, but I don't think it really would have fit... That kind of a soliloquy-song only works in a musical/play. It's a good thing that we got to see it in the musical at least =)

Gives a lot more insight into Simba's character, and it's really beautiful.
