Did anyone do this as a kid?

When I was a kid, I was usually at my childminders in the holidays, where we would ALWAYS watch TLK. Whenever her granddaughter came round (she's 3 years older than us) we would always play Lion king with my little sister, her dog being king Mufasa an all the little babies being lion cubs. I was usually Scar (yeah...), Nala or Kiara, The granddaughter was always Simba or Kovu, and my sister would just be anything. Oh, the good days...

LOL! I did that all the time when I was little. When I was a kid, I would usually walk on all fours, and run around the house when I was watching the stampede scene came on. When I was playing the VHS in my room, I would climb on top of the cabinet pretending to be Simba at the top of the animal tower in "I Just Can't Wait to be King". Finally, at the end of the movie, I would take my yellow teddy bear, and lift it in the air while standing on my bed imitating the presentation of Simba and Nala's cub.

I don't think I ever role played. I would play scenarios in my head though of if the characters were in the real world and appeared on talk shows or something lol.

Three years ago( I'm fifteen) my grandmother took me to see the Lion King musical in Hamburg Germany.
My father and brother went along( I live in Belgium so for them it was a trip).
After my little brother(4 at the time) anoying :P me the whole two hours drive :quit: about TLK he was as syked as I was.
So he disided he wanted to be Mufasa( doesn't make sense I know but he wanted to, and who am I to disturb a 4 year olds fantasy) and I was Scar so he could beat me again and again and again... :?

So not so long ago but stil role playing :D

The past can hurt but the way I see it is, you can either run from it or learn from it.

I don't remember much anything, but I "was" cub Simba, and later Kiara. I hadn't seen Simba's Pride then, but I read a children's book about it :--D
