No, I think you and some other people have been just hasty. (Do you spell the word like that? =D)
Anyway, people should just slow down and take a look aroung. I wish the "register" button disappeared compeltely when sign-ups have been disabled, like it does on one awesome Finnish forum host.... That would force people to look around first.

Ok, checking, is this one big game, shown in several locations, or several games, over several locations (like the RP's on here)

One big game. Every game topic in any in-gane area location are part of this entire RPG. But this doesn't mean you must read every post and game topic anyone plays. And even though the basic idea/plot of theis RPG is rather serious and dark, it doesn't mean you couldn't play light and rather random-ish events, too. As in, do remember that apart from Simba's special protection, everyone make efforts to continue normal life, regardless of the shadow and evilness going on.

The essential thing is that you keep in mind what has happened to your character in the topics it has physically been involved in the past, because its past must affet its future. That is why it's recommendable to start keeping a timeline for each of your characters. Check the Timelines board and its Guidelines topic, for more information.

So put basically, it's one big FanFic, but as an RP?

If you're wondering about me, I haven't forgotten about this RP! I've just had a lack of creativity lately so I'm making drafts on my computer to see how I'll introduce Scar in some of the new RPs and try to make my posts long because I fail at making long posts during dialogues..

I personally for Simba's part, am intenting to just go with the flow. Mufasa's player has stated on the forum in the "Ideas for threads" topic, her intentions for the topic. You may want to go read that. (: Basically we're just waiting for Scar to appear into the topic and see what happens. (: Remember the story topic is yours just as much as ours. (: Feel free to come to the "Ideas for threads" topic and have your input on what you would like it to become/include/lead to. (:

I hope the topic can get on soon, because those events really are extremely essential and when unfinished, somehwat keeping everyone from topics set to a future date.

Everyone disappeared around end of July - beginning of August and I've sent out two mass e-mails during August and September with no results. So it's time for an official cleaning.

ALL PLAYERS: Forum Cleaning is happening! If you want to continue playing, follow the instructions of this topic:

The cleaning ends October 31st 2010 everyone who has not done what's instructed in that topic by that date, will be deleted and their characters made available. So if you don't want to continue playing, you don't have to do anything. An e-mail about this has been sent out to all current players.
