I believe, if they were shown in the movie, it would be Mufasa, because normally, lion cubs are born from the king, am I right? Also, if that is not the case, I would think that it would be in the books. Because, I think I hsaw/heard somewhere that Taka got his scar in a stampede or something...

1.) There may be up to 6 males in one lion pride, so no, not all the cubs are born from the leader.
2.) The books are NOT Disney's official books. They are FANFICTION written by many different authors. Whatever is in the books, does not connect to the canon in any official way.

Guys,I remind you that TLK lions are very different from what lions are like in real life.
You shouldn't compare them too much,cause TLK lions do act more like humans.

I'm late to this conversation but I've almost always believed that Scar was Nala's father.

You shouldn't compare them too much,cause TLK lions do act more like humans.

They did take after real life lions in many things and I don't see why the number of males matter would've been left out. It's just a community detail, very human like in itself. I believe the only significant human difference is that no one else probably made cubs with Sarabi, her being Mufasa's wife. And the lions probably didn't mate with each other around the year 50 times a day, but as said, I see no reason why Disney would've ditched 4 out of 6 possible male lions or have them not have cubs with the numerous lionesses. I repeat: community. And it's not as if in human kingdoms the king makes all the children.

They ARE lions,but on the part of the relationship and family matters,they are like humans,obviously because they get married.
I didn't say that there aren't any other lions,I agree with you that there are other males in the pride that they didn't show because they weren't very relevant to the storyline.
Yeah,many people tend to think that Mufasa was her father,because he is the king,but on that matter the human similarities come to show.

I like to think Scar is Nala's father, I like thinking of her having different parents then Simba
