I wouldn't trust a deviantArt journal OR consider it as canon. I could make up an interview with Rob Minkoff and say he answered all the questions we Lion King fans have, and would you guys believe it? I would even go to the effort of making it look somewhat professional.

Well, I think she thought Scar loved her because he chose her cub to be his heir. But kovu was born after Scar's death. ''Kovu was the last born, before you exiled us to The Outlands...''

I've got your point. I've seen that journal entry too, and I don't really care if it's true or not... I've always thought that Nuka's father was Scar, and I still do.

about that last family tree: did you make up those names? i really don't know most of the names. I do know the tlk6na and comic cub names, but who are the others? where are they from? are those names made up by Disney?

Well, I made up most of the names. I liked the characters' designs and wanted to give them names and personalities.

Ema is the orange female cub next to Mufasa in the first panel.

You know Dotty and Spotty? Daima is an Outsider that's been said to be Dotty, but she doesn't look like her very much... Zingela is my own character, but there's a lioness in Simba's Pride that has a similar coloration, so I decided it to be her.

I believe you know who belong to Disney (Simba, Nala, Mufasa..... and those cubs from the comics and tlk6na that were named by Disney). The characters I mentioned in this post belong to Disney, too (or at least their designs do). The other characters like Tombi, Dama, Jana and Kali belong to me.
