Mheetu?

Boy, do I feel silly. Of course the comics didn't exist during the movie Sorry, I wrote that rather late so I don't think I had my brain fully engaged. In my opinion it could be a lioness or a cub. I don't think Disney expects most people to pay much attention to background details nor do they think about it. They just needed extras to show the pride sleeping together inside Pride Rock. I am a person who loves characters that were never in the movies (Kopa (kinda of obvious ), Mheetu, etc. However, these characters do not officially exist to Disney.

Mheetu wasn't even made then so it is impossible for that cub to be Mheetu, don't you think so?

Mheetu was born a short time before Mufasa's death. Sarafina mated with un unknown male (prehaps Ni or someone else,what do you think?) and had a son - Mheetu. He was Nala's little brother. Unfortunetly after Mufasa's death and Scar's coronation Scar killed the cub. As a king he had to get rid of all cubs who cary his brother's blood. Small Mheetu dies very very young. Sarafina's heart is broken and Nala starts to fear 'Mr Scar' (she calls him that way before her mother's death). All the other lionesses are indignant at the new king. Along with Meheetu dies Chumvi and other male lion cubs (exept Tojo,who has to leave the pride when he starts to grow mane).

Mheetu was cut from the story so they could show more of Simba and Nala's relationship. He was just a tag-along little brother with no real role so I'm glad he got cut out. He was very adorable looking, though.
So, yeah... that can't be him.

I really think Mheetu would have been a cute thing to add in the movie, since Simba and Nala are the only cubs we ever see. How would it have changed if there were more cubs, like in a real pride? Hmmm....

In my draw on conclusion. Mheetu is older then Nala. In my statement, it could be Mheetu or just another lioness LION around *Snickers* :33 Bad pun.

Also, during IJCWTBK or when they are in the graveyard. Mheetu could have left to find his own pride. As he is of age. Or like you guys said... It could just be another lioness.
