I totally forgot to post in here when this happened, but I finally got my second one done. :p We ended up waiting until after school was out and I'm glad we did because my ankle swelled up really bad. But it was worth it because my new tattoo is awesome. It's the silhouettes in front of the sun from the famous promotional image. I didn't get the sun, because I thought it would look weird, but I got the silhouettes around my ankle. I got the idea for this one at Disneyland last summer during the Soundsational parade. It got a lot of compliments at WDW and Disneyland in July. Though one woman asked me if it was Noah's Ark and then seemed very disappointed when I explained that it was TLK. Her loss.

Here are some I managed to get. These are from the day after, so everything looks kind of swollen... because it is. I need to get some now that it's all healed.

I'll probably be getting another next summer. Summer is the best time for me since school's out and I can concentrate on getting things healed. I have a really epic one planned.

Wow! I love the silhouettes one, especially Scar . Hmmm....I never thought about a lion King tattoo. If I was to get one, it would probably be a Scar one. I've always had a few tattoos in mind. I wanted to get the Black rabbit of Inle once. But now I wouldn't mind either a Crescent Moon on my shoulder or the Kanji for Moon (Tsuki). But still umming and ahhing about it . I'm much better with needles now but yeh I don't know .

#1, Hasira Kali, that is awesome. Seriously I always loved the silhouette graphic in the promotional materials because it gave a nod to hyenas being part & parcel of the whole circle of life story parade

It was funny because my artist (different than the one who did my Simba) said he loved Zazu and didn't understand why people didn't seem to love him too. Then he was singing random song snippets as he'd get to that character. It was a fun experience.

Same. I was thinking of the Simba drawing that Rafiki has on the inside of the tree. Or a small one of the actual tree itself.

I was thinking about getting "il vit en toi" on my foot , which is French for 'he lives in you' and the Swahili symbol for hakuna matata on my hip . I originally wanted to get that one on the back of my neck, but I don't want my tattoos to be too visible
