how does your environment reacts on you TLK-fan-ness?

You should not, that is why :)

As for me: I do not think people really care, my friends are not that judgemental of it. I mean I do not over exaggerate my likeness for the film, it is pretty great obviously but I would not say I am obsessed, I just thought it was a good enough film to see if there were any forums to meet other fans on. But in reality, my friends just take it as another film I like, I mean it is no different to liking any other film really.
And being one of the highest grossing films of all time is near proof that it is not aimed entirely at kids anyway.

To expand on my other post:
One of my friends knows that I know about TLK. But apart form being "in the know", I don't know if he considers me a fan. I don't mention it a lot to him, but I sometimes drop hints. Here and there. Small references that he might or might not get.

Most people don't know, and those that do are ok with it, they are my closest friends and family

Nobody apart from you guys know about my love for TLK. Even though I go on this site right under their noses...in fact, i'm writing this as my dad and my brother are watching the football, or soccer, or whatever you Americans call it ;)

All my closetest friends are cool with the fact that I'm a hardcore TLK addict except for my one friend who thinks I'm "abnormal" just because I'm obsessed with TLK and having it as my favorite movie. She just messes with me about it and she claims that she doesn't like it anymore. When she has her negative points about TLK, I know how to prove her wrong because I can debeat back with my postive points about TLK. All my other don't have a problem with this. My other friend has recently became a TLK addict like me and she says that she got back into it because of me. I glad that she finally understands me. 8-)

Only my family and some good friends know that I like TLK. (I'm too shy to say that to my class... XD). And stil, they might know that I like lions...
Few years ago, my neighbour was fan of TLK, too. We was best friends, also. But now, that friend is older and she is not so great fan like she was... :( She said that she growed out from TLK... I wish that those ages when we played together could came back... :lonely:
Apparently, a 17 year old boy should not be interested in animated movies, my parents are very traditional, as odd as that is, and I have to sneak on to this site and then get rid of the data.... I manage it quite a lot, but it sucks....
I can identify with you. I am 17 year old boy too and I don't even want to think what would happen if my friends knew about this...

I think the majority of people I know think i either love it or hate it, because whenever someone brings TLK I tell them all about Kimba and how much a rip off TLK is, but I don't particularly care that much of it either way, so I'm fine :3 I think a few people know I like it on some level, though.
