Nala's Father

I think her father was Scar. It is said in The Lion King: 6 New Adventures that after Taka(Scar) got his Scar everyone made fun of him and his only friend was Sarafina. That also explains Nala's yellowish eye-color.

it doesn't say that in TLK6NA. I have all 6 books and nowhere in them does it say that. and A Tale of Two Brothers doesn't even mention Sarafina at all.

and actually real lion prides seldom inbreed. every few years a new bloodline comes in when new males take over, and young males are sent out of the pride in adolescence. so it's highly unlikely that a male cub born in a pride would ever be mates with any lioness in that pride. only in rare cases where the male retakes his own pride that there would be inbreeding.

but since Simba did retake his own pride and both lionesses and the ruling males are related to him, it's highly likely he is related to Nala. unless there was another, un-related male that fathered Nala and something happened to him before we see Nala and Sarafina in the movie? in real prides there can be up to 3 un-related males in the same pride.

I was thinking that Nala's father was Leo, Sarafina met him while hunting. Sarafina was in love with Scar, but he saw in her only a good friend.

I've thought it was Mega. but depending on which one you think is Mega or Leo, we might be thinking of the same lion. the big lion with colors somewhat similar to Nala in that picture is the one I think. it refers to him as old, so he was likely around in the timeframe needed. plus he seemed a bit nicer to Kopa than the others in that scene, so perhaps it could've been due to relation.

but according to the text, Leo was the one who was jealous of Simba's family tree. if he was Nala's father, I would think he would be bragging on bringing a wonderful queen into the world instead of some exaggerated account of his ancestor.

I didn't think that her father was Scar or Mufasa (TLK dosn't have much real pride behavior in it otherwise I would think it was Mufasa) so I made an OC, Angaza, who in my version of canon is Mheetus father too.

I think Nala's father was Ni, from TLK6Na.

I think her father is a rogue. I can't really accept the fact that Simba and Nala are related... :ehh2:
I think Nala's father was Ni, from TLK6Na.
but Ni was only a teenager when he met Nala in that story. lol, that was my first idea too though, until I got the books and read it. Sarafina was also trying to scare him away at the beginning because the pride lionesses didn't want a stranger who could possibly be dangerous around. plus, she was particularly worried about Nala, Kula, and Chumvi being in danger from him.

Actually, it makes more sense for them to be related. On their argument, they said:

''You're starting to act like my father.''

''Well, at least ONE of us does.''

Doesn't that sound weird? :O
