how does your environment reacts on you TLK-fan-ness?

I don't brag about it or bring it up unnecasarily, but if it comes up in a conversation like what films you watched recently? What's your favourite Film? Etc. I will say Lion King, either that or Aladin 'cos I love them both and watch the series fairly regularly for both. So yeah some people like my mum, some other family members and my colser friends know I love it. The rest just haven't asked and it hasn't come up in conversation yet.

My BFF definalty knows b/c we tell each other everything. My closetest friends at school all know. I don't tell my mom and dad and I definatly don't like mentioning about TLK to my older brother. Last year when I was 13, my brother used to brag me about TLK and make fun of me for it (even if it was mentioned out of nowhere!) :( But now, he doesn't tease me anymore about TLK. I guess that he came to respect my own interests and obsession. :happy3:

Nobody knows =o
Sometimes I simply sit down and write because I cannot help it. Who knows, perhaps one day something will come out of it. Writing is the only thing that, when I do it, I don't feel I should be doing something else.

My mum thinks it's really cute that I'm still into this film after 15 years! She asked me whether Mufasa still was my favourite character and was amazed when I said yes, apparently I'd quote him a lot when I was 3  Teaching my friends about the Circle of Life and stuff. I don't even remember doing that but..yeah. I was a strange child indeed xD
Actually, both of my parents love TLK almost as much as I do,it was about the only movie that I didn't have to talk them into watching with me when I was younger. They loved it back then, and still do.
My sister says she hates TLK. But she's 12 years old and has issues lol.

Only my closest family know. One day when I was still living at my parents place my mom asked me what I was thinking about. I said "the usual", and then it went on and on. Back then, I wasn`t familiar with my own emotions about all this, didn`t know much about psychology. So it ended up with mom thinking I was attracted to Nala. I wasn`t sure myself exactly what I felt then.

The truth is I was never attracted to Nala in that way. Only like how I would love a pet cat of mine. She has to be with Simba. No point in telling my mom how the deal is, she never implied that it was wrong of me to feel that way.

My parents, trusting as they are, accessed my computer using the admin codes and found out about this, now I have had to be VERY sneaky about this, they think it is "unhealthy" for someone like me to like TLK
