I agree. It's unknown who her father is.

If you look at the facts about lions, it technically doesn't matter if the lions are related; the head male (If there are rarely other males in the pride) mates with about every lioness in the pride. And the lionesses in turn raise the cubs together.

So I don't find anything too weird about Simba and Nala's 'relationship', though I have had my doubts about Scar. Since there is no real proof his mother was Uru (Or if there is) how does she have a curved nose? I thought Scar was kind of adopted by whoever their father's name was (I forget) because he felt pity on him. Anybody else think so? :/

I think that TLK6NA establishes that Taka and Mufasa are biological brothers. And we've seen from the link Moka posted that Nala's father <is> either Scar of Mufasa.

Scar and Mufasa are brothers, neither one of them is Nala's father. How seriously could the producers have meant it if they stated Roger Allers being the father after that.
And you guys keep forgetting that there aren't real lions, especially not regarding the community. These lion 'marry', I don't think real lions do that. :nehneh:
With that, her father can only be a rogue. Because if you look at it logically, you have the main characters, if there was any relation going on between them, it would have been mentioned in the movie. Such an important thing wouldn't be left out. So that leaves me to the conclusion that only a rogue or an unmentioned lion is Nala's father.

it would seem that TLK uses a lot of unnamed rogues to father their characters. Kovu, Nala, etc. A little bit odd that so many characters have only half a lineage.
