Yes cub adventures, I heartily agree! I have some short stories like this, so if they want to get in touch... :P
The Quote Hall Of Fame: show
Ou - "Ou iz awezome."
Roku - "Roku is awesome."
Ou - "Kal is awesome."
*Kal bursts into tears of unbridled joy*
The Admiral - "What am I reading?"

Well, after such a long time, if they ever do get involved in a next movie... 1. Hopefully it will not be 3D CGI, and 2. A prequel or a sequel, but I'd rather like a sequel. Not sure how they'll pull it off with good ratings and without disturbing the rest of the series much, but I can dream. xD

I'd rather not see another movie because I do't have faith that the current Disney will be able to do anything worthwhile with such a project, but I would love to see some more music, for example:

1. The Complete Score. It was once released unofficially for one day, and the audio is of low quality, but if they can find the original recordings and release them in a complete package, I'de love it.

2. Perhaps get Lebo M to come bakc and record another "Rhythm of the Pride Lands / Return to Pride Rock" style CD.

Another sequel would have very little chance of being high quality. A theatrical sequel to a straight-to-video release is unheard of and SP already holds the distinction for being just about the only straight-to-video Disney sequel that doesn't completely suck, so I wouldn't be too confident taking that path again either. On the other hand, I've never been much for prequels.

I guess that's my long-winded way of saying that I'm perfectly content with what we already have. Sometimes movie franchises need to know when to quit.
Come death. Come suffering. I will not live in fear. In this fleeting life where time escapes us, the path of least resistance is a slow quiet death. I'd rather burn out than fade away.

Since Disney only makes TV shows about teenage wizards and pop stars and what-not I could almost guarantee a TV show will never happen. God, they may as well rename Disney Channel to something different, since there is pretty much nothing that the two have in common, in my opinion (other than they are both produced by the same company)

If I'm honest, I'm happy with TLK as it is. We got our sequels, and although they're not great, they are vastly superior to other Disney sequels (Imagine Hunchback 2 in Lion King form? :ocwap: ). I'd be concerned any new additions might spoil the balance I have right now.

A lot of people want a Scar-and-Mufasa-childhood-prequel, but I think if we did get that we would all be very disappointed. We the fans would want something very dramatic and gritty, which Disney probably wouldn't give us. Plus, a lot of us have our own ideas/theories about what happened before the first movie, and if the "official" events didn't match the theories that some people may have had since 1994, there would be a lot of uproar, I think.

However, if there's one thing I do want it's a TLK themed ride at Disney Land. Not a show, not a gallery or exhibition. A ride.

Don't get me wrong, I love Disney land. I've been to California and Paris (aged 5 and 11 respectively) and when I couldn't find one anywhere, I was a bit disappointed. A lot of the other really popular Disney movies got their own rides, so why not TLK? I mean, it would work. Sort of like Timon and Pumbaa's ride on the TLK3 DVD (but obviously a bit less stupid :P)

OMG, they should bonus feature animate a deleted scene segment for "Warthog Rhapsody" and make a log flume water ride out of it!!! Holy crap, that'd be awesome! :D :D :D

There, that's officially the only direction I would want further animation in the TLK franchise to go in. Do a festive, well-advertised bonus/supplemental animating of Warthog Rhapsody and do a big huge celebratory introduction and ribbon-cutting on a tie-in water ride.

Done in my head. I want that. Really a lot. Just enough to capture some hype, but not going to mess anything up irrepairably, either.

Absolutely.

OMG it would :) Though they'd need to advertise it well because I'm sure not a lot of people know what "Warthog Rhapsody" is

Just thinking of how long the lines always are for the water rides at Disneyland Florida in the summer, they could just play it on the TVs in an endless loop & it would more or less advertise/implant itself permanently

V. true :)
Sadly I've never been to Florida :( we the Irish don't do so well in the heat

And if not this then one of those rides that takes you through the movie (the one that springs to mind immediately is Peter Pan's flight at DL California) I think a ride like that has the potential to be amazing. :D

I don't think they will do another one, sadly :( But if they did, I would like them to do about Mufasa's and Scar's childhood. It would be great if they did a TV series about Simba's and Nala's childhood.
