Strange thing about TLK 1&2

Strange thing about TLK 1&2

Postby serra20 » June 1st, 2009, 10:03 am

Now,I think this will sound a bit crazy and stupid, but I'll still give it a try...

So,everybody remembers the Just Can't Wait To Be King scene where all animals were singing,at the end of the song.I noticed alligators and crocodiles singing too. So,now I'll tell what's wrong.

In Simba's Pride,probably the same alligators(or crocodiles)attacked Kiara and Kovu.So now,don't they remember the song?That Kiara was Simba's,king's,daughter?

I know that this article may appear as pointless, but this just didn't fit for me.Did they forgot that they were singing how good of a king Simba will be,and now they want to kill his daughter?

They were crocodiles, lol. Alligators only live in America and China. :)
That's probably because they were different crocodiles. That swampy area where Kiara and Kovu met was in the Outlands, whereas the IJCWTBK scene happened somewhere on the edge of the Pridelands. I dunno, that's just my opinion. :)
Or maybe they just had bad memories, or didn't know Kiara was Simba's daughter or something.

lol, I have to agree with Amanda that these crocodiles (which I think they were) are different, since they are in The Outlands area. hehe. Who knows how long passed since the Just Can't Wait To Be King scene happened up until that point in TLK2SP. I mean, I know that crocodiles live for a LONG time but I doubt they have very good memories. ^^ I mean, they can't even remember to keep their eyes open when their mouths are. lol. :)

Crocodiles can live up for a long time! Also, the crocodiles that appeared in the IJCWTBK and the incident with Kovu and Kiara look different to me lol. Since these crocs are in the Outlands, you would expect them to be bad or so I think. >.> I shouldn't really be saying but you just assume they would be. All in all, I think they are different crocs and aren't aware that Kiara is Simba's daughter, regardless of the presentation in the beginning. ^^

I'll make this short since I have to leave for school very quickly but...

The crocs in TLK2 seemed to be larger, of course they would have grown as well... However, the crocs in TLK1 had birds in their mouth without eating them, which means they had plenty of food.

Zira and her gang were banished from the pridelands and she said it herself, they do have little food. And since the crocs were on the outlands, it would mean they are hungry too.

Simba would have no reason to banish the crocs, they were just living. But they could have done something for all we know! But it wouldn't be easy to move so many crocs to so far away. Since they do live in water most of the time.

Also, the ones in TLK1 were living in water. In TLK2 it looked like a swamp. But that's no biggy I guess...

My point is, (if I am making one) is that I don't think they are the same crocs...

Now if I come back from school and read this and it confuses me... It might confuse everyone else, so sorry! XD

Wow Linda, that's some really deep reasoning there. ^^ Never thought of the food aspect of the situation. lol. I just always figured that the crocs were just trying to kill Cubby Kovu and Cubby Kiara...because that's what Disney crocs seem to like to do. lol. ^^ But you made some steller points there my friend and I completely agree. I just wish I was that sharp when I first wake up. lol. :) I Also think that Simba doesn't really have any authority over the other creatures other than the lions and such, even though he is the King. I just don't see a whole host of crocs doing what a single lion tells them to. lol. I think all creatures have respect for Simba and company but they just aren't all under his rule. ^^

Eh... yes and no. They probably did have plenty of food, but the birds are no indication of that. A little more must be understood both about the crocodile and the bird.

The bird isn't just any bird. It is known as a "crocodile bird" (wow, original), and actually has a relationship with crocodiles. The crocodile bird scavenges food out of the crocodile's mouth (from the rest of the croc, too) to survive, which actually helps the crocodile almost like a dentist. It's weird, but that's what happens.

Also, there's something interesting about Crocodiles that could be an explanation. Crocodiles have what's known as a "feast and famine" lifestyle. They eat a ton at once (for example, a whole water buffalo), then don't eat for months. And the "feasts" and "famines" for crocodiles occur pretty consistently. Perhaps IJCWtbK took place in one of the famine cycles, while the Kovu and Kiara scene took place when they were finally hungry?

But I doubt they were the same crocodiles either. Especially since, you know, everything died and the river dried up in the middle of TLK1.

I think that the other animals don't really have any relation with the lions of the land. The only time that they speak is in songs, and all the rest of the time they act as if they don't even know the lions really exist. Mufasa couldn't stop the stampede, The battle-animals like leopards and cheetahs didn't come to their king's aid when his pride was threatened, and a bunch of vultures even tried to eat cubby Simba lol. It's just life, crocks are hungry fellows, and they'll eat anything.

Hmm. That is strange. But of course, crocodiles will eat anything. And it is a possibility that they are the crocs from IJCWTBK. They can because since all the animals went away during Scar's reign, they might have went to the outlands. And they might have not known that Kiara was Simba's daughter. They might have not even though he came back. But however, their eyes are different.
