Circle Of Life: An Environmental Fable

Circle Of Life: An Environmental Fable

Quite possibly the most boring thing ever to happen to Disney. This is a film, about 15 minutes that plays in The Land Pavilion Theatre at Epcot. It is pretty much an "Edutainment" video teaching people about taking care of the planet and all that good stuff that we should do, but do not. And it is loosely based on The Lion King, in that it is narrated by Timon, Simba, Mufassa and Pumbaa. They even got all the original cast back, except Simba who was actually voiced by Cam Clarke, who voiced Simba in the "Timon And Pumbaa" TV series.

I mean seriously, it is just a short film about keeping green, at Disney World. No 3D effects, not nothing, just a normal theatre room that plays this little film =/

Anyway yeah, heard about it, found it in YouTube, thought I would post it here in case anyone was curious or whatever, I should say beforehand though, it really is not the most entertaining thing to do with 15 minutes of your time. And the quality is not great, as it was recorded =D

That it's Lion King related is the only reason why I've seen it twice lol. It's a boring and VERY dated film (though nowhere near as dated as Universe of Energy with Bill Nye.)

Apparently they're putting in a new one to replace Circle of Life in the next year.

Yeah I would have thought so, Circle Of Life itself replaced something (that the name of, slips me) but that was about 5-6 years ago. It does need an update though, for sure. I mean, it is not really something I would even expect to see at Disney World at all, usually even the things that are similar to this would have 3D or some kind of gimmick to them, but this is just... I don't know... XD

Ah yes that was the one, I can see why they would have replaced it with something more kid friendly haha.

Yeah. This is kinda... very boring. In the trope world, it's an anvilicious film, and doesn't know the concept of subtle. Well, the few scenes with Simba on screen were good. I rather liked the part where Simba loses his temper at Timon. But other than that... yeah. Boring.

Haha I see, any scenes related to Lion King are good, but the ones about global warming? "What is this? I dont even."
