It would have been cool to see the Legend of the Lion King, but at least, we have the Festival of the Lion King.

Legend of the Lion King was pretty cool. The puppets are still around in the backstage areas apparently. Also, several cast members went on to be in TLKoB. Roger Wright was in the Paris show and also opened TLKtM in London.
We are so much more complicated than our names.
