@BrianGriffinFan: You are right for Timon to be Simba's Stepfather He would have to marry Sarabi. Timon and Pumbaa would be Simba's Fosterparents at the most. Simba likely sees Timon as a Father Figure, but that in no way means that Timon has Replaced Mufasa.

Besides it took Mufasa's spirit showing up to give Simba the final kick in the tail He needed to go home and save The Pride Lands.
