You raise a good point all things considered, and the way I can make the most sense of this particular situation with my limited knowledge is that the producers and script writers of the movie simply didn't deliberate much into it at the time and just went with a narrative which they believed would be captivating and entertaining to most people. Moreover, I also think that, most likely, the dynamics between the three characters (Simba, Timon and Pumbaa) were established for the sake of instilling a sense of heartwarming camaraderie among the audiences in order to act as an emotional counterbalance to the tragedy of Mufasa's death, Simba's desolation and Scar taking over the Pride Lands.
I need to ask: do you actually read anything I wrote? I'm sorry, but based on your response above, I don't feel like you took the time to read ANY of it beyond the title and just wrote a bunch of mumbo-jumbo that only vaguely relates to my actual post to satisfy me.

Unfortunately, the response had the opposite effect. I'm autistic, so when people don't really acknowledge anything I've said it's really, really frustrating.

I know you said you weren't sure how to reply, so I appreciate you taking the time to...but you still could have tried to acknowledge WHAT my topic was about, and WHAT points I was trying to make. Otherwise, it doesn't really feel like I'm being heard.

I don't know if you're reading this, and I apologize if my tone is harsh. I don't want to upset you or anything. And I do appreciate that you took the time to respond to me several years ago.
