It's a shame that most VA won't be returning but it is definitely understandable. As long as the voices aren't that different from the original ones, I can definitely get used to it.

The hyena looks pretty cool! If that design is the canon one, it is one of my favourite so far, to be honest. The hyena seems young and quite "shifty", in my opinion!

scuze me for being Scientific here, but the only problem is hyenas dont have pointed tips on there ears they are more broader and curved at the tips

Well it is stylized, like everything in TLK, and is only a slight modification on the original "TLK hyena" style. Additionally, hyenas do have pointed ears, they're just shorter and broader, rather than long and pointed as we see there. But lions' ears don't look the way they do on TLK lions IRL either.

I think it's surprisingly on-model, considering the hyenas aren't a favorite species. I will be interested to see the final design of the hyenas when the show airs, and see how similar or different it is to this sketch and the original style from the movies.

I was on Wikipedia and I read that Matthew Broderick is also going to voice Simba in the TV movie! It doesn't state who will voice him in the show, but the fact that he will have the same actor for the movie makes me happy to know that.

I am quite sad and a little apprehensive about there being a new Rafiki, but I did like how Khary Payton stated that he was taking over for the Great Robert Guillaume, so he has the right mindset. as for how well he will fit as Rafiki, I know that I can trust Disney to cast someone that will at least fit the character. Although part of me wonders if Rafiki will now say Boo-Yah!
As for Moira Kelly coming back to do Nala's voice, I don't put much trust in anything I read on IMDB regarding upcoming projects, But desperately hope this is one rumor that turns out to be true.
As for Matthew Broderick coming back to voice Simba in The Lion Guard T.V. Movie, I think that is possible. Considering that Tim Allen did Buzz Lightyear's voice in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins Direct to Video movie. Then Patrick Warburton was Buzz Lightyear's voice in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command The T.V. Series.
