Aww, I see what you're saying Moka. It can be thought of to members as unfair that some get dens and others don't. But I hoped to one day earn one. It doesn't matter though. ^_^
EDIT: Going back a reading the first page, I got to side with KM. I really was hoping to earn a den one day. With the ranks removed and now the dens, what is there left to stride for? Where are the goals? I mean, sure, this is a community and of course the real purpose it to have a good time and make friends, but there are some (like me) who are ambitious aswell. So, all the great members who earned the dens (and those who wanted to earn them) now have to have this goal crushed because a few members whined because they didn't get one? I see this problem alot in real life...trust me. I hope I don't sound like I'm ranting D: I'm just really upset about this. I know that member dens would be cooler if there was a community of a few hundred members. And I know that there are about 2,000 +. But exactly how many of the over 2,000 members are actually active? Most (to my knowledge) just join and make less then 100 posts, then it seems they leave and never return. Removing the dens isn't going to take any pressure of the Mods either. All that's being done is taking to topics and pushing them to the already filled "The Den". Personally, I think that moving all those topics to "The Den" would actually make it more difficult to moniture them. When I first joined this forum, I spammed everywhere (especially the topics started by me) to increase my post count. But then custom titles came and I stopped. Now I look back at those old post and think to myself: I was such an idiot. XD I don't see how the Member Dens would cause an increase in spam. And what's removing them going to do? The topics still exist anyway.
Again, I hope I don't sound rude. I hope I don't sound like I'm ranting either. I'm just expressing my opinion/veiw on this subject. (lol, I guess I had more to say than I first thought XD)
