Post count!

I'm just trying to say, someone can be online and not active. There are many ways of telling if someone is online. So why does it matter so much to us? Post count isn't hurting anyone. If it bothers you, then why do you post? (general question, not to a specified recipient)

of course, but that is no reason to have post counts. I have yet to see the forum that doesn't have one. They don't matter, but they are a little way to enjoy posting around. It's just a bit of a badge, like a trincate.

Post count may not be hurting anyone, but it motivates people to post meaningless posts just to get their post count up. It does more harm than good in this forum because it's so active.

Exciting stuff. I don't see the point in a Post Count, but I think trying to get a high number might be important to some people, in which case I'm sure they will be pleased I guess it could be fun to know how active you've been in the forums.

We turned post count incrementation off for the arcade, as it was before. Every other forum should increment your post count when you post!
