The Lion Guard (2015 / 2016)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found those eyes slightly... Strange :P

I noticed the Lion Guard Wiki added a page for the Roar of the Elders, based on the Hear me Roar! book. After re-reading the official description, I now wonder... Could this be a hint to how Kion calls upon Mufasa and the other spirits? I'm really curious now! :)

Sorry for the "stupid" question, but...won't Kovu appear on the show? :?

I'm hoping so much that Kovu will appear. The fact that the show is taking place after Simba's Pride means that the creators pay a lot of respect towards the first two films and are following them chronologically. If Kiara's going to be appearing as Kion's older sister, then it wouldn't make sense for him to not appear there. We know that he and Kiara got married at the end of the second film, so he has to be there. I have no idea why they haven't stated about Kovu appearing. My only guess is because they probably want to surprise us older fans. :cool2:

^I truly hope that you're right. Not having Kovu there would be a complete disrespect towards the two first movies, IMO. :/

Kiara has been referred to as "the future queen of the pridelands" in pr so i'm 99% sure she has a a king husband, and it would be really wierd for that king not to be kovu.

I'll be surprised if Kovu's not there too. Like others, I'm hoping they plan to surprise us with his presence somewhere :)

If this is aimed at preschoolers, most of them don't know who Kovu and Kiara are anyway... They probably don't even know that there is a 2nd or 3rd TLK film. Which is why I think that the majority of screen time will just be the new characters and story. Just like in Timon and Pumbaa, the other characters make cameos from time to time pretty much to remind you its all in the same universe and cannon but other than that, its really just fan service / reference type scenes they appear in.

Speak for yourself. Why do people always use things like "We" and "Our", you aren't the sole voice of the entire fan base. I for one don't really care either way if he is in or not, you can tell them that in the message too if you'd like. :)
