The Lion Guard (2015 / 2016)

Well you know what else is missing on Fuli the cheetah? :oh?: ......her black tear marks from the eyes, seriously, a cheetah is not a cheetah without the correct markings and features but they did get her slim body correct.

Everything was correct in TLK when it comes to the Lions accept for the comedy bunch Timon and Pumbaa, and so far Kion hasn't changed so thats a good thing, and the other animals in the gang are fine, except Bonga and Fuli, and I was hoping, I would love her but now, im fearing the opposite.

For me im all about details, for me details matter, especially when it comes to educating children about aniamls.

Just like Julie said, children don't exactly need to see "realism" on TV to know the real way of things. Animals also do not talk, and, yet, cartoons very often picture them speaking and every child knows it's simply fictional. Personally, I think that shows aren't forced to picture the exact reality since parents should also have a role on this too. If the child is incorrect, they should show them the correct way, not say "Watch the show". :chuckle:

I do like all the designs, especially the badger, Bunga, and Kion. I'm not a big fan of the Cheetah, maybe because I rarely love female characters.

I saw this as I was browsing for anything more on the books and I came upon this, SIGN IT!
www.gopetition.com/petitions/kopa-for-lion-guard.html

It might be too late for them to put Kopa in the movie but maybe not to late to put him in a series

No matter how many signatures they get, Disney will not put Kopa in their series. They don't have to and they're not going to, and personally, I don't see why they should. They didn't create him, they simply gave permission to his creator to publish the stories he'd written.

Im just not good with kiddish styles, I prefer more realism, but instead of talking the negative lets talk about the positives here, I want to come to peace with whatever the throw at us.

Here s the other question we should be asking Disney and ourselves, is once the kids and adults see this, they will want to see the actual movies, and I have a strong feeling we will be getting a new better generation of Lion King fans very soon, but how are they going to see the movie if its tucked away safely in the vault? its nowhere in stores anymore. so the biggest question is will they release the movie again? how will they do this? the new viewers will wan to see 1 and 2

Of course they're going to release it from the vault again. That's what they always do. Locking things in the vault is a marketing strategy. When a movie hasn't been available for a while and suddenly it's back on the market, people swoop in to buy a copy before it's gone again.

And besides, there are places online where you could buy them right now.

there parents most likely will have 1 and 2 and 1 1/2 on dvd so it might not be too hard for kids that watch lion guard to see those movies but they did not really put all of timon and pumbaas show on dvd so i dont know how kids will get to see all the episodes

To my knowledge, none of the episodes of the T&P show are on DVD. And the answer is, kids won't get to see them all. The show wasn't very good, and it aired so briefly that few people did get to see all of the episodes. Most kids probably won't even ever realize it existed.

And for those who do and do want to watch it, they'll just have to watch the episodes they can find on YouTube.
